Sheet metal press operator — Carbon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Carbon County, Utah. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $130 per day plus benefits.
