You will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
