MIG welder — Jasper County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jasper County, Illinois. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
