Power float operator — Runnels County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Runnels County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time with occasional weekends.
