We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in City of Poquoson, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Six days a week, one day off.
