Foundry worker wanted in Atkinson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Atkinson County, Georgia. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. On a typical shift you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time, day shift.
