Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Currituck County, North Carolina. Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
