Vacancy available: precision welder (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Costilla County, Colorado. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE 2+ years on the tools preferred.
