Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Shropshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Shropshire, England. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 1+ years on the tools preferred.
