Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Allen County, Kansas. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
