Core maker — Berkeley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
