Rigger wanted in Jackson County

Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Jackson County, Kentucky. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
