Crawler crane operator — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Jackson County, Indiana. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
