Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in St. Helens, England. The job is at a textile finishing unit. The role involves press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Pay around £2,950 per month, based on your experience.
