MIG/MAG welder — Warren County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Warren County, Mississippi. The job is at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding You will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
