Crawler crane operator — Wayne County

The role involves rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
