Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in LaPorte County, Indiana. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
