Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Cattaraugus County, New York. The job is at a plant nursery. On a typical shift you will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided.
