Immediate opening: overhead (EOT) crane operator (West Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Kanawha County, West Virginia. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
