Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Oswego County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
