Elevator service technician wanted in Wasatch County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Wasatch County, Utah. The job is in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
