Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Chase County, Kansas. The job is at an injection moulding unit. You will set up and start the machine as per the job card; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
