Tig welder — Forsyth County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Forsyth County, North Carolina. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
