Machinist wanted in Chase County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Chase County, Kansas. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
