Immediate opening: flatlock machine operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Chester County, Tennessee. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required.
