Dogger — Attala County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Attala County, Mississippi. You will work at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 4+ years on the tools preferred.
