Fettler wanted in Surulere

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Surulere, Oyo State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills 3+ years on the tools preferred.
