Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on a high-rise building site. On the job you will handle: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals 5+ years on the tools preferred.
