Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Dickinson County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Six days a week, one day off.
