Foundry labourer wanted in Sherman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Sherman County, Oregon. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
