360 excavator operator wanted in Herkimer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Herkimer County, New York. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On the job you will handle: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Full-time, day shift.
