Lifting rigger — Edwards County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Edwards County, Illinois. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
