Ironing operator — Johnson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Johnson County, Tennessee. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. The role involves set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
