Immediate opening: formwork joiner (Mississippi)

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Montgomery County, Mississippi. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing You will de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
