Immediate opening: gtaw welder (Ogun State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Shagamu, Ogun State. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal.
