Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Tate County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Part-time with flexible hours.
