Die-casting operator — Carter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Carter County, Montana. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time with occasional weekends.
