Argon welding operator wanted in Bernalillo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
