Presser — Salt Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
