Trowel-trade bricklayer — Johnson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Johnson County, Texas. The job is on a commercial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
