Motor grader operator — Anglesey

Now hiring: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Anglesey, Wales. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £12 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
