Press shop operator — Pickens County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Pickens County, Georgia. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 3+ years on the tools preferred.
