Urgent requirement: rebar foreman (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Cheshire West and Chester, England. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
