Lifting rigger — Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Grant County, Nebraska. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
