We are recruiting: we are hiring a captain waiter in McPherson County, Nebraska. The job is at a banquet hall. What we are looking for: • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner Day to day you will polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar.
