Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Iroquois County, Illinois. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Full-time, day shift.
