Great opportunity: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Franklin County, Indiana. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Day-to-day duties: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Six days a week, one day off.
