Immediate opening: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Clallam County, Washington. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
