Semi-automatic welder wanted in Eureka County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Eureka County, Nevada. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Full-time with occasional weekends.
