Plastering hand • Coffee County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plastering hand in Coffee County, Alabama. You will work on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
